I’ve taken some time off to clear my brain after a long school year. Today I upgraded this site to WordPress 2.8 using simple scripts. I tried doing it manually but messed it up. I had to revert to a two week old backup. After upgrading to WP 2.7 via Simplescript, I upgraded to WP 2.8 via the automatic upgrade feature.
I’m going to open a Twitter account so I make some contacts in the non profit industry. I hope this will give me some sense of how others are running their non profit. Since we are so small, it is difficult to find the time to make these contacts and follow through on implementing ideas for fund raising. I still have the vision in my mind to build a home and school to help these kids out of poverty and complete their education. I have also completed our 990 form and it has been accepted.
Dear Kevin, como sta ka: I’m ateacher in Calif.Solano Community College. I have just gone through your great Pictures of Samar. My Asawa is from Balanga,Bataan. I was stationed at Subic Bay for 10 years.I have a sponsored child from the bario in Bagio City, Luson. I’m going to retire and thought I might go there next summer to teach in the Bario. Ihave started the process to have a non-profit status. My heart goes out to you .Salamat Po.
